Summary of Chapter 4

Detective Peet next begins interviewing the employees of Risk-eGames.com. He starts with Victor and quickly finishes with him when Victor keeps claiming that the real victims in the mess are the remaining employees of the company. When interviewing Kim, Detective Peet uncovers that fact that Kim had no social relationship with Eduard but that she had recently encountered him having dinner with a friend of his from business school. In her interview, Catrina reveals that she had a crush on the dead business development executive and even found his habit of sniffing white board markers endearing. Anthony tells Detective Peet that he couldn't have been involved in the crime because he spent the previous night with a girl to whom Archibald introduced him. Archibald seems to have an airtight alibi by stating to the detective that he spent the previous night at home with his wife and four children. Detective Peet indicates he has uncovered the motive for the murder if not the murderer.
